Human Rights Policy
At D’Pertus Consulting, we are committed to respecting human rights and maintaining the highest standards of integrity, accountability, and respect. We believe in fostering a culture based on trust, diversity, inclusion, and the well-being of our employees and clients. Our commitment is reflected in our policies on Human Rights, Diversity and Inclusion, Workplace Safety, Child and Forced Labor, Human Trafficking and Slavery, Community Engagement, and Employee Wellness.
D’Pertus Consulting is dedicated to providing a work environment free from human trafficking, slavery, forced labor, and unlawful child labor. We do not employ anyone under the age of 18, unless it is part of an educational training program and complies with local laws. D’Pertus Consulting prohibits child labor and forced or compulsory labor in any form. Employees are not to work against their will or as bonded labor. We will not tolerate retaliation against individuals who report violations or participate in investigations. Any retaliation will result in disciplinary action, up to termination.
Human Trafficking and Slavery Policy
D’Pertus Consulting will not tolerate human trafficking or slavery in any part of our operations. We are committed to promoting human dignity and human rights in all aspects of our business. This includes prohibiting forced labor and unlawful child labor. D’Pertus Consulting also prohibits employees, contractors, and agents from engaging in practices related to trafficking in persons, such as:
Destroying or withholding an employee’s identity or immigration documents.
Using fraudulent practices in recruitment, such as failing to disclose key employment terms.
Using non-compliant recruiters.
Charging recruitment fees to employees.
Failing to provide return transportation for employees brought to the UK for work.
Providing substandard housing.
Failing to provide legally required employment contracts or work documents.
D’Pertus Consulting will take appropriate action for any violations of these policies, including dismissal of employees, contractors, or agents involved. We will cooperate fully with UK authorities in audits or investigations of such violations. All employees are required to assist in internal or external investigations of suspected violations.
